The problem

Franklin Commercial handles the sale and letting of commercial properties and businesses across the South East of England. The team needed to redevelop its website and the management system behind it, making property searches clear and easy on mobile, tablet and desktop.

Administrators needed an easy way to manage listings, while vendors needed the choice of submitting their own properties or asking Franklin to manage them. With thousands of registered users interested in regular updates, the new system also needed to integrate with the e-shot marketing automation platform.

The system

We built a bespoke property management system and a mobile-friendly website, with searches by category, property type, area and tenure. Buyers can browse listings from a phone, tablet or desktop computer.

Franklin administrators can add and update properties, using integrated Google Maps to pinpoint the location of each listing. Vendors can submit their own properties through a simplified three-step process.

We integrated e-shot so visitors can set up property alerts that match their preferences.

The outcome

The resulting system improved the experience for buyers and sellers and made back-office property management more efficient. Franklin reported positive feedback from both buyers and sellers.
