What bespoke software costs

Most agencies dodge the cost question until you're deep in a sales process. We'd rather tell you upfront: for the SME systems we build, most projects land between £15,000 and £80,000, with phased delivery so you see working software early rather than waiting for one big launch.

What drives the number

The biggest cost drivers are the number of distinct workflows involved, integrations with the tools you already use, and how much reporting depth the result needs to support. A single workflow, such as quoting or job tracking on its own, sits at the lower end of the range. A system covering several connected workflows, with integrations into existing accounting or CRM systems, moves toward the upper end.

How the analysis phase works

Every project starts with a fixed-scope analysis phase, so you know the full cost before committing to a build. It is not an estimate that grows once development is underway. We map your actual process, agree exactly what's in scope, and quote it as a fixed number. Delivery is then phased. The workflow that takes the most staff time goes live first, typically as a working first release within 8 to 12 weeks. Later phases are priced and agreed once you can see what the first one actually saved you. You're never committed to the whole spend up front.
